including yourself....
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Moksha means freedom...
Eve Fritz grew up in Newfane, Vermont where she lived with the famous author, director, filmmaker, and creator, her father, Robert Fritz who wrote The Path of Least Resistance and many other books on the creative process. Following in her fathers’ footsteps, Eve developed a passion for creating at a very young age, often involved in several of her fathers’ movies, and was basically raised attending her parents creating workshops as early as she can remember. After studying as an actress in Montreal, Canada with Sandford Meisner’s last protégé Jaqueline McClintock, she moved to New York City and lived there from 2004-2009 where she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Neighborhood Playhouse. In 2007 she performed her first Off-Off Broadway production of Chicago at the famous Shetler Studios. After a severe injury and a nervous breakdown during another show, Eve officially ended her career as an actress in 2009, but still maintains her love for the theatre by writing plays and directing local actors in VT. During her time in NYC, she also had a job as an administrative assistant at a busy Bikram Yoga Studio on the upper east side where she practiced Yoga. In 2011 she attended Moksha Yoga training in Montreal, Canada to become a full time Yoga Instructor. She continued to teach Yoga in her hometown of Vermont while attending classes at CCV, thriving and maintaining what her teachers called “master level” writing skills and encouraged her to pursue a psychology degree. Unable to afford anymore college, Eve went back to work in the restaurant business eventually becoming a sous-chef. Eve now lives with her wife in a beautiful house in Vermont, where she continues to pursue her creative efforts as a writer, cook, lead female singer and guitarist in a country band where she performs for local events and weddings.
